About Ms. Leena

I am a Post-Graduate in English Literature with a Bachelors in Education from St Xavier’s, Mumbai. Vijayawada has been my home for more than two decades. Choosing to be a teacher has never been a conscious decision but more of an organic one. I believe in providing equity and equality in education and advocate, in Ken Robinson’s words, an agricultural model of teaching, wherein the teacher is the catalyst and nurtures the learner in conducive environments.

I like to ensure that students thrive in these changing tines through mindful living while striving for excellence in their academic goals. I think when it comes to teaching-learning experiences, the teacher is the most benefitted learner of all as he/she gets to learn every single day. Teaching has shaped my perspectives, ideas and beliefs.
