AIMEE International School is dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team, playing a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Individualised Instruction:

- Design and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning requirements.
- Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Assessment and Evaluation:

- Performs a variety of assessments and observations to determine the areas in which the student may need extra or modified educational services. Assessment areas may include academic performance, behaviour, social development, or physical health.
- Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders:

- Collaborate with parents, classroom teachers, and other support staff to
create a collaborative support system. - Attend and actively participate in individualised education plan (IEP) meetings.

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field. A teaching qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience in special education, with a focus on supporting diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with individualised education plans (IEPs) and special education laws and
regulations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
