Physics Facilitator

Full Time Role – Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

AIMEE International School is dedicated to providing a stimulating and inquiry-driven education. We are currently seeking an experienced and innovative Physics Teacher for primary grades who is passionate about fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills through inquiry based teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Inquiry-Based Instruction: 
      • Utilize innovative and effective teaching strategies to make physics concepts accessible and engaging for students.
      • Create a dynamic and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry. Integrate real-world examples and applications to make Physics concepts relevant and applicable.
  • Assessment and Feedback:
      • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate students’ comprehension of physics concepts.
      • Provide constructive feedback to students, enabling continuous improvement in their understanding and performance.
  • Integration with Technology:
      • Integrate age-appropriate technology tools and resources to enhance the
        inquiry-based learning experience.
      • Explore innovative ways to use technology in scientific instruction to facilitate understanding and application.
  • Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-disciplinary connections and integrate physical science with other subjects.
      • Share insights and strategies related to inquiry-based teaching with fellow educators.
  • Professional Development:
      • Stay abreast of the latest developments in scientific education and
        inquiry-based teaching methodologies.
      • Engage in ongoing professional development to continuously enhance
        teaching practices.

Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field. A teaching
      qualification is preferred.
    • Proven experience in teaching physics at the elementary school level, with a focus
      on inquiry-based methodologies.
    • Familiarity with the integration of technology in elementary scientific instruction.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
