Responsibilities
- Child-Centred Learning:

- Design and implement developmentally appropriate and engaging activities for young learners.
- Foster a love for learning through play-based and hands-on activities.

- Social and Emotional Development:

- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes social and emotional development.
- Implement strategies to enhance communication, cooperation, and empathy among children.

- Subject Expertise:

- Home Room Teachers are expected to possess proficiency in teaching
subjects such as English, Science, Global Perspectives, Digital Literacy, and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) using circle time activities.
- Home Room Teachers are expected to possess proficiency in teaching

- Collaborative Efforts:

- Collaboration among Home Room Teachers, specialists, and school staff is emphasized to enhance the overall educational experience, ensuring a well-rounded approach to learning.

- Parent Collaboration:

- Establish open and transparent communication with parents.
- Collaborate with parents to understand and support each child’s development.

- Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates and progress reports.

Qualifications

- A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. A teaching qualification is preferred.
- Proven experience in Primary Education or Early Childhood Care and Education
- Familiarity with age-appropriate teaching methodologies and play-based learning approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
